OBJECTIVE

Launch Kay Jewelers Facebook page with a big impact of new, engaged fans & generate virality with the goal of increasing sales

CHALLENGE

Women are the target but Men often make the purchase, so we had to create a page that motivates women to encourage men to make a purchase

THE WORK

MethodGroupe created a concise social page delivering appealing and engaging content, as well as managed Kay’s social media content calendar with timely/seasonal promotions and content. Ultimately, we determined that women are more likely to be the company’s brand advocate, specifically online. We generated over 40,000 fans in the first two weeks of launch by word-of-mouth. Shortly after we launched a sweepstakes campaign to incentivize users to generate likes & engage with the new fan page; fans jumped to 140k in one month. While we managed the campaign, we jumped to over 1 million likes at a 0.62% average engagement rate (industry benchmark 0.36%).
