La Carreta Packaging

Create packaging design that clearly differentiates La Carreta croquetas and coffee as the “premium” croqueta and Cuban coffee options in the market

How to emerge as the “premium” brand when frozen croquetas/premium coffee have been around for years and consumers have trust in their current brands
THE WORK
MethodGroupe designed 3 different packaging concepts for 3 different flavors of croqueta from Miami staple La Carreta, as well as the packaging for La Carreta’s premium Cuban coffee, for retail and wholesale – even redesigning the logo for a fresh look. We applied the existing brand narrative to our packaging concepts, utilizing iconic visual elements like their wheel, gallo, etc. to maintain the La Carreta brand and positioning. To stand out from other boxes on the shelves, we stuck with bold solid colors that attract the eye. We also designed product sell sheets for distribution to suppliers to encourage orders.
